Emma's Post

I have posted Emma's Link on my family blog but thought I'd post it here too. Emma's story is one of Hope. She needs your prayers/good thoughts/Good Karma. Emma is 5 years old. Until this year, she was living in an orphanage in Ukraine. Her Mommy and Daddy brought her home just a few weeks ago. Emma has a heart defect (much like my son's). In the states, it would have been corrected at birth. However, hers has not been corrected. Due to this, the body has compensated and caused issues that may prevent the doctors from correcting the heart condition. This will GREATLY shorten little Emma's life. Emma has defied the odds thus far. Her parents are praying for a miracle and ask that everyone else keep Emma in their prayers. This family is inspirational!
